On 24th March 2023, H.E Amb. Stephen Mubiru the Ambassador of the Republic of Uganda to Germany and Permanent Representative of Uganda to the United Nations Office in Vienna, presented his credentials to the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency Mr Rafael Mariano Grossi at the Agency Headquaters in Vienna Austria.

On 22nd August 2022, H.E Amb. Stephen Mubiru, the Ambassador of the Republic of Uganda to the Federal Republic of Germany presented his letter of credence to H.E  Frank-Walter Steinmeier, the President of the Federal Republic of Germany.
 
The function took place at the Bellevue Palace in Berlin and was attended by dignitaries from both Uganda and Germany.

Amb Stephen Mubiru presents his credentials to the Holy Father

On 15th December 2022, H.E Amb Stephen Mubiru, the Ambassador of Uganda to the Holy See, presented his credentials to the Holy Father. During the private audience in the Vatican Apostolic Palace, Pope Francis received the credentials of eight Ambassadors.  The Holy Father welcomed the Ambassador of the Republic of Uganda and requested him to deliver special greetings to H.E. the President. The Holy Father also thanked the President and the people of Uganda for the warm reception he received on his last visit to Uganda.

Uganda and Germany renew bilateral and technical assistance cooperation

Today, the Republic of Uganda and  the Federal Republic of Germany signed the  Summary Record of the Negotiations on the Development Cooperation between the Republic of Uganda and the Federal Republic of Germany. The negotiations on development  Cooperation focused on  the provision of German Technical and Financial Assistance to Uganda for the period l2022-2024. The final phase of the negotiations took place at the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development in Berlin. The bilateral negotiations take place bi-annually in Germany and Uganda alternately.

Hon. Abubakhar Jeje Odongo, Minister of Foreign Affairs concluded a visit to Budapest, at the invitation of his Hungarian counterpart, H.E Peter Szijj(rt). The visit was aimed at strengthening the ties between Uganda and Hungary. During the bilateral talks on 22nd November 2021, the Ministers reviewed the status of implementation of the MoUs and agreements signed between the two countries in the various fields. Today 30 March 2022, Mr. Luai Mousa from the Embassy of the state of Palestine visited the Uganda Embassy Chancery and signed the condolence book in the honor of late Rt.Hon.Jacob Oulanyah who was the speaker of the parliament of  Uganda .
