On 15th December 2022, H.E Amb Stephen Mubiru, the Ambassador of Uganda to the Holy See, presented his credentials to the Holy Father. During the private audience in the Vatican Apostolic Palace, Pope Francis received the credentials of eight Ambassadors.  The Holy Father welcomed the Ambassador of the Republic of Uganda and requested him to deliver special greetings to H.E. the President. The Holy Father also thanked the President and the people of Uganda for the warm reception he received on his last visit to Uganda. The Ambassador extended an invitation to the Holy Father to visit Uganda again and commended the excellent relations between Uganda and the Holy See.
