Today 6th November 2024,  H.E  Amb Stephen Mubiru  presented copies of his letters of credence to the Chief of Protocol in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovakia. The Ambassador was accompanied by the Hon Consul Mr Andreas, Agama Woling Anthony, Minister Counsellor at the Embassy of Uganda, Berlin. Also present in the meeting was Mr Vladimir Soltys who is in charge of the African desk at the Slovakian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. A number of bilateral issues were discussed including a proposal to enter into  MOUs in various fields. This signals a new chapter in the Uganda- Slovakia relations. The actual date to present the original letters of credence to the President of Slovakia shall be communicated in due course. The Ambassador also met some coffee buyers  interested in buying Ugandan coffee. Finally, other meetings are expected  to follow.
